Our tariffs are changing
We review our parking charges annually and from 30 March there will be a change in how we charge at some Great Northern car parks to reflect demand.
From 30 March, a number of our car parks will offer the following options:
- a discounted evening rate for parking after 5pm
- a day rate
- a weekend rate
A range of lower‑occupancy car parks on the Great Northern network will continue to offer off peak rates from 10am to encourage more people to use them.
Income from parking helps us maintain and manage our car parks and, together with rail fares, supports the wider railway, reducing reliance on taxpayer funding.
Blue Badge holders will still be able to park for free at these stations and will be unaffected by this change.
