Graduate scheme

With 273 million passengers riding on our network each year, strong leadership is a must. That’s why we invest in developing young talent, offering a rotational training programme that helps graduates build exceptional skills and experience.

About us

Thameslink is operated by the Govia Thameslink Railway, which is itself part of The Go-Ahead Group, the UK’s busiest rail operator. We handle a lot of journeys and a lot of moving parts. It takes solid leadership and customer service skills to keep it all running smoothly.

We created our graduate programmes to attract young talent and help them develop the high levels of customer service needed to do what we do.

Our working culture

Achieving a silver award for being investors in people, The Go-Ahead Group strive to give all employees the best possible working environment. We pride ourselves on:

  • The quality of our leadership
  • The strength of the relationships within teams
  • The effective use of skills and talent
  • Having strong responses to feedback
  • Commitment to continuous improvement

As a progressive and developmental company, we encourage all graduates to be creative and look for ways to continuously improve the business and the passenger experience, at all levels.

You can learn more about our programme – including application details – at the Go-Ahead website.
